Eat Stop Eat: An Close Up and Personal Review
I honestly do not remember how I came across this website but I do remember almost clicking off of it a couple of times because the information I read there went totally against the grain of what I had learned about food, nutrition and dieting (like it was doing me any good anyway).
I had already tried just about every diet out there from Atkin’s to the cabbage diet (that one was just plain miserable) and nothing had worked for very long so why would this be any different?
I remember something my mother had said once that stuck with me. She said, “Once someone manages to quit smoking, drinking or biting their nails they “win”, game over…but the problem with losing weight is that you just can’t quit eating”.
Well when this site first mentioned short term intermittent fasting as a way of restricting your calorie intake as a means of safe weight loss I almost fell out of my chair I laughed so hard, thinking that “this one is the craziest of them all“.
That’s when it hit me like a train…maybe it would be easier to just “quit” eating for 24 hours than it would be to “eat right” 7 days a week!
I figured that with the money back guarantee I didn’t have anything to lose so I went ahead and placed my bet on the long shot. To my surprise, what I learned inside of Eat Stop Eat was both liberating and infuriating (make Hulk mad). The results of the scientific testing done on short term fasting were incredible and motivating from the view point of safe weight loss.
The reason we don’t hear much about these incredible health producing benefits in the mainstream media is what made me so angry. The people that make the food don’t want you to slow down on your eating for one main reason…it’s about the money; it’s always about the money!
Well anyway, since I have implemented the Eat Stop Eat method I am now losing between 1.3 to 2.1 pounds almost every single week (except the couple of times that I consumed around 12 million calories on the weekend and gained back a pound or two)…c’mon don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talkin’ about!
I choose to fast from about 5 p.m. to 5 p.m. the next day (which means I am asleep between 6-8 hours of the fast). I drink water with a little lemon or lime juice which keeps any hunger pains pretty manageable.
The thing that keeps me from “comin’ off the tracks” is that its pretty easy for me to go the distance with the Eat Stop Eat program. It is so much easier to just go ahead and “take care of business” two days a week when it comes to calorie restriction and safe weight loss than trying to “keep it on the tracks” 7 days a week.
When I weigh on Monday mornings, almost every time I’m thinking, “I blew it last week; no way did I lose anything”. Then lo and behold the scale tells me I lost a pound and a half…its like magic, sshhhh, don’t jinx it.
Another neat thing that is happening while utilizing intermittent short term fasting is that my body seems to be “resetting” itself, for lack of a better term. My body is regaining its “voice”, if you will. Before when I would begin to eat, my mind and my mouth would let me eat my self into misery but now my body is beginning to set limits on how much I want to eat…weird, huh?
I know that this method of safe weight loss will work with anyone but might not be for everyone.
The Eat Stop Eat program is for people who:
- are tired of the “yo-yo” effect and are ready for gradual, consistent, safe and permanent weight loss
- want to “take care” of cutting calories 1-2 days a week instead of 7 days a week
- like flexibility and freedom (utilize this method anywhere, any time)
- hate deprivation, no “bad” foods
- can’t stand calorie counting or weighing food portions
The Eat Stop Eat program is not for people who:
- want to lose 30 pounds by next week
- need a formula or a structured program to guide you
- need a list of foods that are “acceptable”
- enjoy being exact and precise when it comes to what and how much you eat
Bottom line, in my opinion (and I believe everybody is entitled to my opinion), Eat Stop Eat is the best way for those of us who hate dieting to achieve and maintain a significant calorie reduction for safe weight loss on a long term basis…especially if you like eating real food, like me ; )
Don’t just take my word for it though, go check out this program for yourself and you be the judge as to whether this is your ticket to the body you really want!
Go Check Out Eat Stop Eat Now
you got nothing to lose but weight!
All the very best to you,
